African Journal of Emergency Medicine (AfJEM)

African researchers in emergency care are disadvantaged in the available range of journals into which they can publish their work: it is either considered too basic for western EM journals, or else is concerned with conditions which are largely irrelevant to those audiences.

Furthermore, as they generally have no training in scientific publications, the quality of the submitted fork is lower than the journal standard.
AfJEM will collate and publish research and other articles of interest and relevance to AFEM members as well as facilitate the publication of suitably significant findings in other international journals and vice versa.

Authors will be supported by a team of volunteers to help them improve the quality of their submissions.
